MICHAEL BROWNING

Michael are an academic psychiatrist, and head of a translational research laboratory. His research uses computational modelling to investigate the neurocognitive processes implicated in psychiatric disorders. He use the insights gained from this work to guide the development of novel psychological and pharmacological treatments, which I assess in both experimental medicine and large-scale clinical trials. Clinically, he lead a research focused clinic for patients with Treatment Resistant Depression in Oxford and am chair of the NIHR-NOCRI supported Translational Research Collaboration in emotional disorders.
